☁️Drawing a memory from a memory☁️ ✦ #art / #liminal / #dream-core ✦ One of few parts of a dream I had a month ago. I tried to sketch quick them before I forgot how it felt and looked! Who knew falling asleep to dream-core playlists and analysis’s in anticipation for Backrooms would do that haha

A rendered sketch of a liminal space. A displaced tiled ceiling, a grassy meadow with patches of flowers, pillars next to an open sky.

A very quick 10-15 sec thumbnail of a dream. Depicts myself as standing next to a weird open room and labeling the different parts of architecture and colors.

Another 10-15 second quick sketch from a dream. Depicts myself looking up to a floating ceiling of a flower meadow in a dreamscape city.

Looks to left. 3 tamas and a Zooble appear.

Three tamagotchi paradise and a purpleish- pink fidget gadget toy that reminds me of Zooble from TADC.

A hungry hunter & a snap trapper VS the candy man ✦ #spookymonth / #art / #spookymonthoc / #BobVelseb ✦

A black and white illustration scenario of spooky month characters, Bob Velseb the devil butcher (left), Kevin the Candy Club employee (middle) and an oc in the universe, Fio the florist lurer (right).

Depicts Bob sprinting down a rainy alleyway, kitchen knife in hand, towards a screaming Kevin, holding his bloodied shoulder. The other side is an interior and lush scene of carnivorous plants surrounding the florist 'host', who dangles upside down creepily above a nervous Kevin.

Contrast and value are used heavily in sketch.

Gummy Ghosts! Someone had recently described my art like gummy candy and I couldn’t resist ✨🍬✨ ✦ #gengar / #art / #pokemon ✦

Traditional looking digital art of Gen 1 Ghost Pokémon (Gastly, Haunter, Gengar). They have a grainy paper tone ‘feel’ with shiny spots to simulate a subtle shiny candy look.

Using a mix of pencil, texture, and marker brushes provided by artist, Olga Ortiz aka olguioo on gumroad.

I tried character writing earlier to try to distract from some stress, which was great but very hard lol Sharing a positive ‘you-got-this’ sketch to those who may need a little pick me up too 🌱 ✦ #oc / #art / #ontheflipside ✦

A desaturated-toned rough sketch of two oc’s showing a positive gesture towards the viewer. The Mothman character floats high with the finger and thumb gesture to signal a heart and his other hand casually in his ‘pocket’. The Merkoi character uses her hands to shape a heart and does a leaping pose. They both smile at you and are sending good spirits.

A character concept of a merkoi oc,Yoko, summoned as a ghostly spirit through Mo’s cigar smoke. My recent WIP post on Patreon goes a tiny bit more into it | #characterdesign #oc #art #ontheflipside |

A conceptual drawing of Mo the mothman (OC) and a ghostly mermaid like spirit flowing out of a stream of cigar smoke, with a similar appearance to another oc. They both smile at each other with a warm glow in the center of both of them.

👻Bonus Sketch: Originally, my sm oc's hair was based on Lydia's messy updo so here's both of them in Burton getups ~ 🦇 #Art #SpookyMonth #SpookyMonthOC #BobVelseb #Beetlejuice

A digital snapshot of a sketch in procreate: Spooky Month Bob Velseb dressed as Beetlejuice floating and giving a fiery thumbs up. He floats behind sm OC, Fio, dressed up as Lydia Deetz as the character's hair was based on the actresses' messy updo. She holds the a book that can be assumed as the "Handbook for the Recently Deceased" and stretches out her hand towards you as if she were about to do a spell.
