Most ablations are not done with ethanol. They are usually done with either radio frequency, pulsed field energy, cryothermal or laser. Ethanol ablation is a less frequently used technique for some resistant Afib or flutter.

I cannulate the cs with a medium curl Vizio and inject dye. Then I wire the branch with a 2-4 mm balloon loaded with an 0.014 guide wire. I inflate and make sure there is no reflux and inject 5-7 cc with for a 5 min dwell time.
