YES!!! A million times yes!! I was actually reading fix it fanfics a few months ago on this very topic because it pisses me off so much! The ending in general felt rushed but yes, complete BS! 💢

Today is the only day you can share this. I wonder what happens when you stare at that “October 10th” date for a while? 🤔

Ye there's one every 11 years since the 80s, so we're due for another one in 2029; though, that movie that came out in 2023 has certainly left a longer lasting mark on fans (soo many doujins lmao 😂) Fun fact: キタロー is what JP fans like to call the P3 protag - I named him that in Reload myself :>

Kitaro!! I've been a fan since 2015, even went to a panel for the series that year we met at Sakuracon :> (and my interest has been revitalized since there was a Kitaro channel on streaming TV in Japan when I went last month, heheh)

I've been getting a lot of positive feedback on the freebie I ❤︎ Human Art buttons I've been giving away at events, so I thought I'd share the template for other to do the same! Download the PSD + PDF for free: ko-fi.com/s/fc2359a543 Use them on whatever you like, as long as you're not selling it!

I sent those Chrono Trigger figures to my brother's place in Japan because like hell I'm paying 8900 yen for shipping. 🙃

As someone who had CTcon as their first ever con in 2003, and had been there several years when I still lived there: it's not even that good a con! My friend already quit tabling there years ago due to it becoming too costly, now this? The audacity.

That's one of my favorite things about Suikoden, that they all take place in the same world! Except the DS and PSP titles, which is why I couldn't get into them. 2 takes place three years after the first game so its even more important to play them together!

110

Ideally💖U @krile.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Oof, I haven't looked at the prices of 3, 4 and 5 on eBay. Luckily I got all three games when they were new 😭 I suggest playing 2 before 3, though it's not strictly necessary (I played 3 first after all lol). But 3 takes place 15 years after 2 and there will be characters you recognize from 2!

110

Ideally💖U @krile.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

5 is seen as the second favorite according to fans, I also liked that one! But I don't dislike any of them honestly lol. I'm just especially protective of 3 and 4 since they're more divisive. The character designer for 5 sadly passed away, too 💔

110

Ideally💖U @krile.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

(And people hate on Suikoden 4 but I personally love it despite its flaws and feel it's overhated~)

120

Ideally💖U @krile.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

2 is generally the fan favorite, there's even going to be an anime based on it starting in October! But I suggest playing the game first. 3 was my first Suikoden actually, since it was 2003 and I had to grab 1 and 2 off eBay (and 2 was over $100, rip my wallet back then lol). It's really good too!

110

Ideally💖U @krile.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

This game can easily be made into an offline game, too, whenever it eventually reaches EoS. And if Konami doesn't, I'll sic Nanami on them. You do not want to mess with Nanami~

031

Ideally💖U @krile.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Star Leap is more of a supplementary title to add a bit more lore here and there, like seeing how Odessa forms the original Liberation Army. Kind of like how Nash inserts himself into Suiko2 timeline with the Suikogaiden series, lmao.

101

Ideally💖U @krile.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

I'm just happy the series is back in SOME capacity, I missed it so much 😭 The DS and PSP titles did not scratch that same timeline itch the rest of the games had for me. And while I still don't trust Konami, I'm going to enjoy this wave of series activity while it lasts. It didn't deserve to die.

121

Ideally💖U @krile.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Do I wish this was a regular game and not a gacha? Sure. But at least this can be played like a regular game for the most part; all 108 Stars will be non-gacha, etc. I think they dropped the ball not having a worldwide release; I fear the global version will shut down before JP servers, so 💔
