Seen it emptier, but probably the earliest I’ve seen anyone tinkling the ivories. Rather sappy pop songs but you have to admire his energy first thing in the morning… In any case, off to Manchester to hear the premiere of my Ravel orchestration with Mark Wigglesworth and the BBC Philharmonic!
