For a biscuit / cookie / cake? can’t beat a Jaffa Cake. For bonbons, dark chocolate and raspberry.
Dark chocolate biscuits(although possibly cakes; this is much disputed) with an orange jelly filling.

Tally Ho. #HamOnt
From left to right: fries (so good) and ketchup; container of gravy (unbelievably delish) and behind it a small container of salad, a thick roast beef sandwich (with more gravy - the best). There’s a cup of Coke at the back.

This is Aloysius. He was with me for 17 years. He would press his forehead against mine when he climbed in my lap. King of the snuggles. 🥰

We took students to the 90th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. Someone sponsored a project to create pilgrimage medals like those that were given out in 1936 when the memorial was unveiled by the King.
Pilgrimage medal from the 90th anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. Silver, metal bar at the top with the dates 1917 - 2007. The ribbon has four stripes: from left to right, green, white, blue, and red. They represent the four divisions of the Canadian army fighting together for the first time. On the medal itself is an image of Young Canada grieving for her soldiers. On the edge, at the top it says “Pilgrimage” in English and French. At the bottom there are poppies.
