Tri color sketches for #inktober2026 this year. I'm a fan of combining prompt lists to get a full illustration. Todays words were: shrine, jewelry, and scavengers. #sketchtober #sketchbook #krazyside #illustration

There are colored pencils on either side of a sketchbook. On the sketchbook page i did for inktober/sketchtober. In the foreground are two chipmunks one with full cheeks, the midground is mostly empty, and in the background is a domed shrume with two shelves holding trinkets, jewelry, and a goddess statue, before that are three bowls of food. To either side of the shrine are flowering plants and bushes. Todays words were: shrine, jewelry, and scanvgers.

A vaguely suggestive tree hile with some beautiful and somewhat uncomfortably moist looking shelf fungi. #anartistwanders #fungi #naturephotos

A moist looking shelf fungi framed in a suggestively shapped tree hole.

A vaguely uncomfortable looking close up on the fungus with dropleta of water or something dripping off of it.

Another close up showing the texture of the funus, kind like a tiny hornets nest with openings at the bottom. There is a fly or gnat on it and more moister beaded on it.

A somewhat less closeup, closeup. You can see two of the shelf ridges and the undersides with their spongy texture-that is not as soft as it looks- and the moister beaded on the undersides.

I don’t feel up to inks, so i decided to do some tri color sketches for #inktober2026 this year. I'm a fan of combining prompt lists to get a full illustration. Todays words were: hat, siren, and battlements. #sketchtober #sketchbook

On either side of the paper are some pencils, in the bottom is my finger/hand holding the paper down. On the sketchbook page: foreground is a baseball like hat with shirt curls sticking out from under the brim. Mis ground are battlement walls to either side and a chain securi g a long haired, vaguely fem siren to the walls, she is screaming. Background are war ships, island like lumps on either side and a vague sunset. The inktober prompt words i used were: hat, siren, and battlements.

It's been awhile since I participated in #inktober but I thought I'd do some sketches with my colored led. #krazyside #sketchtober2026

There's a selection of pens and pencils at the top of the image. The sketch book page below features in the foreground a bush, bowl and bucket with a broken rope. The midground has some tall grasses and an overgrown well with bushes on the other side. The background has tres a tree line and the top of a house and chimney showing above the trees.

The Feels meeting the What If's things could get interesting. #krazyside #thefeels #thewhatifs #sketchbook

A sketchbook page of made up creatures. On the right are the what ifs, who look sort of like stuffed teddy bears with longer tails. On the right are the feels who look like stuffed rabbits.

A pile of feels, who look like stuffed rabits. Each has a different expression.

Stage like curtains going into the distance from behind them peek out a series of stuffed rabbits or the feels. A series of arrows runs down the middle pointing towards the viewer.

We can't make great art all the time. Remember it's okay to make simple art. Its okay to just doodle and have fun. Its okay not to put meaning into everything. It's okay to have FUN,and just see what happens. #justhavefun #doodleart #makearteveryday

This is a photograph of a sketchbook on a putple table. On the sketchbook page- foreground-is a circular design of nuerographic shapes. Intersecting lines with the corners rounded and the shapes colored in. Ring one is brown, ring two is purple, eing three is red and the center is on finished. Don't underestimate the power of your words on someone else. We all deserve to be applauded and lifted up. We all deserve to be encouraged. So encouraged someone else, be the voice of good and not ill intent. #encourageothers #encourageart #allartisvalid #krazyside

A sketchbook page of a darker skinned female with short white hair and a patterned dress that is putple with dots of white, gray, pink and blue that swirl out from a dot centered on her chest. She's surrounded by a swirling pattern of bright colors.

A nuerographic tree drawing. A swiling tree like shape made up of interconnected lines with yhe corners rounded out and circles interspersed throughout. The shapes are done in orange, pink, maroon purple, and green. The circles are yellow. The background is a tral color with a white line and dot pattern.

A sketchbook page of an orange like half shape at the bottom, center light inside with dark edges. From that center point a blue jagged petal like pattern fills the space. The background is done in a dark flat blue.

My collection of tiny sunflowers. 🌻 🌻 🌻 I love getting random flower seeds and just seeing what comes up over the summer. These were not at all what I expected. #anartistwanders #sunflowers

A small nickle sized sunflower with yellow and maroon petals and water droplets surrounded by green leaves.

The same flower only before it blooms. A collection of sharp green shapes with dark brownish purple tips make up the bulb of the bud. Leaves of the same color split off to either side. Blurred out in the background are the edges of a red and blue flower pot.

Not the same flower but from the same collection of seeds. This sunflower was larger about the size of my palm with dark red petals abd a brown center with a bee in it. Background contains a cement wall of decorative bri ks and a awua and blue flower pot. My hand is holding the flower still for the photo sin e it was windy that fay.

I had a conversations this past weekend with someone that angered me. Art that is different then yours is not lesser. Art that isn't as skilled as yours is not lesser. Build people up, encourage them. Don't break them down! #encourageothers #buildupeachother #queerartist #sketchbook

A sketchook page of an androgynous figure with yellow hair. The figure is light blue like glass and full of cracks and missing pieces. They have yellow hair, a skull necklace, and a red heart. The heart is whole. The background is a series of blue shapes in varying shades with a white circle texture added.

A look at things that are cracked and maybe broken. Does that make them less beautiful or just different than they were? #sketchbook #mentalhealthart #ohuhumarkers

The impact of two cracked spheres. The gray one has broken but the colorfull one is dented but still while. A yellow tension line exists netween the two.

This sketchbook page features a cracked surface in varying shades of green with black sections representing missing pieces. A visual representaion of how i have been feeling lately.

In these two images I explored the idea of tension in discourse and contention. Life has been stressful in a lot of ways lately and trying work through it visually has been interesting. #krazyside #abstractart #sketchook

An abstract drawing of the joys and tension inherent in discourse. The top sections are blue with a verigated center and white dots, the bottom section is pink and red with purple. Done on water color paper.

An anstract drawing exploring the point of contention. The lighter center of the image is bracketed by red fadining into a darker color. The blue gray lines draw the eye inward to that point. Done on watercolor paper.
