Do you like kombucha? You could get some of the same toys and gear but end up with something non-alcoholic (or crank up the sugar and yeast and make it alcoholic anyway)

I'm starting to think about adding a catio to an elevated deck. Do you have any resources that were helpful or things I should consider? I know I want it to have a roof to keep raptors out.

it's great. Definitely a game where it's worth avoiding spoilers. The whole thing becomes a commentary on this exact feeling of not wanting to finish a book or game.

Listening to the first post-Municipal Roundup NGNM. Change is hard. I'm sure I'll come to enjoy the nautical theme, and I'm glad they're mixing things up. But I'll miss item rodeo.

The place is popular for a reason (Sky Pond, Sharkstooth, and Loch Vale @ RMNP)

A view of an alpine lake. The water is dark green and rippled by wind. View looks toward horizon, framed by a low tree-lined slope and a steeper shoulder of mountain.

A view of the Sharkstooth, a set of five or so fang-like peaks that curve toward the sky, above a steep field of scree.

A different alpine lake viewed ffom far away and above. It lies in a dark green pine valley. Smaller hills and mountain stretch beyond, made hazy by smoke against a bright blue sky.

it's so nice when you find a comfortable place to sit that's definitely not weird and too small

a small black cat lying on her favorite spot in the kitchen (other than on my laptop). it's a small radio that she doesn't really fit on. a jar of pencils is increasing the comfort by poking her in the backside

I will face my breakfast desire. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the breakfast-wanting has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain in bed.

My new shirt design is a very serious PSA that I was asked to make, because apparently a lot of people don't know. roryblank.bigcartel.com

A drawing of a grim reaper drifting in a toyota sprinter across a grid landscape in front of the outline of downtown detroit, with a big skull looking over it and a wingding in the corner with a skull and cross bones, a vertical black block down the side of it says "extreme danger!"
big text at the bottom says "lilies are toxic to cats! Do not expose your pet cat to lilies it's very bad for them!"

Good day for staying in bed with this guy 🐅

An orange stripey cat on a white comforter. He's next to a humans leg. He looks very pleased.

The same cat's face viewed from underneath in a funny angle that would be unflattering in a human but he is a perfect angel with a pink nose with black freckles
