In my mod, I ended up making "Occult Protection" for defense against magic (including the Wither), but a unique chestplate enchantment is interesting

The term "mob" is really a more technical term for NPCs/entities that move around in games. Both the Trill and Dried Ghast are creatures, but aren't technically mobs. "Tick" is in the same boat, but I'm more forgiving of that one, since a "second" is really just derived from Earth's rotation

Minecraft Dungeons 2: The Rift, is pretty good! Between the book and the game, I think the Minecraft lore crowd are gonna be eating good for a while Though a random criticism that I have for most Minecraft books, is the use of the term "mob" instead of "creature" or "monster".

They mentioned using the Flames of Creation and The Firsts to build the overworld. So perhaps they didn't make the dimensions "space" but the things within?

I wouldn't really know how that works, considering the Hosts *seem* to be from there, and we're the ones who created the Overworld Though perhaps they only made the main "planet" the hero lives on, since we know there are meteors/craters.

They won't confirm or deny anything over social media. Any confirmation will probably be via an announcement... That being said. Jens has said in the past that they actually didn't get a chance to finish the dragon fight... And we know they like returning to old ideas..

I always love learning about the process of making the game I make a mod and I really do my best to keep things as close to how the Mojangers would do things... But maybe I'll leave the art to my artist lol

I know this is a bit of an older post, but I was wondering if Dark Elves/Drow had a hand in inspiring the Illagers? I know Minecraft takes inspiration from fantasy media sometimes (like how the Ravager was inspired by the manticore)? Also would it be inappropriate to ask for Dev Q&As to return?

I personally don't like mini map mods. If I played with it, I'd make my player have to have a map in my inventory, but at that point I could just be holding a map I'm a big "immersion" guy when I play

I thought about making a mod that did this but I too thought that it didn't really feel like something Mojang would do I think the closest thing that could happen would be an advancement for interacting with every mob and maybe a list somewhere showing what's been checked off
