Thirdly, on the topic of little details, noticing the sandbags alongside the heavy theme of 3 (a number that haunts me outside of this movie) with the empty rope is... Damn, that's dark. Also Coraline noticing the snowglobe after her parents were sealed, smart girl.

Second---I know these are most likely easter eggs with concept art regarding to the Pink Palace, BUT IF WE'RE LOOKING AT THIS IN-UNIVERSE---these pictures on the wall brings up a detail that "Maybe these pictures helped The Other Mother understand what the Pink Palace looks like."

Firstly, I was just confused with this detail until I finally had the thought "Wait, what if the form she portrays isn't actually her true form". Which- yeah no duh, The Beldam still looks like Coraline's mom despite the distortion.
