I ended up jobless, while he remained indifferent—his own brother had been unemployed for three years, so my situation didn’t matter to him.

I had my car battery stolen too :( though I was wide awake, at an Amazon warehouse that was in a *really* bad part of Vegas. 😮 The people who do that are the lowest of the low... This isn't just an inconvenience, this is stealing a day of someone's life + a day's wages. :(
