A comic in shades of mauve. In the top panel, a person is holding their head and saying “Oh no! The rare cherry tree grandma brought with her from the old country! It’s been chopped down!! And only a week after my new neighbor complained about it blocking his view!”

In the second panel a disembodied voice says “Tree law?” followed by a sequence of besuited people popping out from behind fences and bushes with briefcases repeating “Tree law!!”

The last panel shows the person who lost the tree, wide-eyed, being carried on the shoulders of a crowd of people with torches and pitchforks, and with a shower of bills falling from the sky. The crowd is chanting “TREE! LAW! TREE! LAW!”
