New production equipment arrived.

I love that actually. Because it means that you're practicing your craft and you're practicing on your own stuff first. I shared this with some folks in a design critique call and they said it was not legible, but if it's personal and for fun, I should do whatever I want.

New year, new invoices. Every year I update the design of Capsule’s invoices and this year I went with something simple. It’s an aped and modified design from an example I found online. Fonts are MD-Nichrome, Jet Brains Mono, and General Sans.

I redesigned the Kona homepage real quick for fun using GT Alpina as the body font and I really really like it. leaning into serifs has always been hard for me, but I hope to change that.

Thanks, and so happy to meet you! Ghost for marketing site, Rails for app site is a good combo. I really like Ghost and I've used it for years. I want to animate a lot of stuff on the new site, but I'm holding off a bit until I'm done with some client work. Here's some of the rest of the site:

Gradient borders aren't possible in Sketch, or in CSS I think. But I have a workaround where I have a gradient background, with a solid background on top, inset by 1px. So it looks like a gradient border.

I was messing around with some logotypes and stuff for a branding project for fun. Two very different feelings and vibes going on. One completely custom, the other modified Manifold CF.
