You need to be prepared to learn by dying. You WILL die, many times over. If you're not willing for that to be ok then yeah you shouldn't, but if you meet the game on its terms and play it for what it is I think you can enjoy it. Their games are much more fair than their reputation might suggest

A huge reason imo why they give the expert gear early is to let the player know that doing the challenges has an actual reward, to let them make an informed choice whether to do them or not. Only getting to know later if you haven't been doing them but would have if you had known would really suck

Re: 9:12, it does in fact say Golon Mines, with the S. And yes an L intead of R but that's japanese for you, wouldn't put any weight on that. Zeldawiki has the cipher and the S is very clearly there (do mind that it's mirrored because hero mode if you're gonna check yourself)
