I 100% agree, it was good when it was two weeks in June, but now there is at least one inter league series all the time and they reduced division matchups for more interleague. Wonder if it reduces at all when they expand and have 16 teams per league

In the Joe Smith cap circumvention case, 2 of the firsts that got taken away ultimately were given back, wonder if the ‘32 and ‘33 firsts will be given back to the Clippers if they get through the 5 year monitoring program clean

The NCAA messed this one up, should have just applied it back a class, they know courts aren’t buying their BS anymore, they’d rather create these messes than do anything to benefit the athletes unless the benefits are forced on them by the courts

If you wanna say the Dodgers signing all the elite free agents = bad, I disagree but not a crazy argument. Saying that the Dodgers building # 1 farm system and paying $10MM to add back to back Cy winner for a title push means baseball needs a cap is just carrying water for Fisher, Nutting etc

Watching Moneyball and just realized right before Beane has his conversation with Henry you can see the 04 and 07 WS title pennants on the Fenway press box, surprised they didn’t edit those out

Lions had some lean years but they had some studs. Shout out Brandon Marshall guy could catch a football (also the clip of Shannon Sharpe pretending to call in the national guard is a great NFL films clip would recommend)

Doesn’t matter the website if it’s a pick a NFL lineup game I’m dominating it:

How did MLB schedule 4 teams for off days today? Jackie Robinson Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July and Labor Day should be the 4 days every team plays on no matter what. On the plus side, no Red Sox to ruin the day today, so it’s not all bad

Pretty sure Leahy was tipping there, Abreu was going left arm parallel to the ground for 4 seam/Sinker and hand to helmet for offspeed while on second for the Navarez AB

What if Carmelo lines up his first extension to be a free agent in the LeBron-Dwade-Bosh class? Who teams up with who, does Chicago or the Knicks get 2 or more of those guys, what do the Nuggets do without the return from the Melo trade, and probably more I’m missing off the top of my head

5 hits in a elimination game isn’t going to do it. Giving the Yankees 2 free outs in a single inning isn’t going to do it either. Red Sox were better this year but there’s still work to do

Trevor Story having this bounce back season is not only very needed for this Sox team, but one of the best bounce back seasons I can remember. Guy missed pretty much 2 full seasons and not only has a 25-30 season but is coming through in the clutch

I know this is a “special event” so MLB wants to push through the rain if they can, but they gotta call it/go to another rain delay if there’s puddles on the infield

Setting aside the obvious intensity difference, how different is the Pro Bowl flag football from what will be played in ‘28 in terms of rules?

The Browns have spent a 3, two 5s, a 6 and $4 million to remake their QB room, why aren’t the Steelers spending half of that to try to get someone in that can give them a chance?
