Thanks Grost! I think sometimes the process is just as interesting as the end result (if not more, sometimes!). This particular shot stood out to me as what I was aiming for originally, became less interesting (to me) than a shot I captured by accident.

This is the photo I was originally trying to take. By the time I reached this spot, the sun had set, so I waited 30 minutes for it to rise again (inspiring my caption). The photo with my face covered made me feel like I had become one with the world, just waiting for the shot.

We'll also be doing another launch event for US timezones (which should be easier for American friends to join!) If you're not able to make it for the first event, do come by on 10 Oct, 10pm EST!

Thank you for featuring me in this wonderful project 💜 I am humbled and grateful to be in this community, and to create art worth sharing! I suppose extending my emotions into photography meant more than just a memory 🥹

Spent a couple of hours last night trying out #FocusDecayEffect. It works by distorting the background while keeping the subject in focus. I use VirtualLens2 a lot, so it was nice to be able to do effects in camera! This photo was completely unedited, too. #Marycia3D #VRChat

I will be there! If you'd like to see or talk about photography make sure to stop by! This is an idea we've thrown around for quite awhile, it's lovely to see it finally come together!🖤 If enough people show interest we may do a 2nd event with a more US focused time that I'll also be present for.✨

I love the #VRChatPhotography scene, with workshops, events and contests, but the western community seemed under-represented to me. This gallery is my effort at contributing to the photography scene, and bridging communities to enjoy the beauty of #VRChat. #ConstellationGallery

💫[Gallery Announcement] 💫 On 10 Oct, 10pm JST, I'll be launching Constellation, a gallery featuring photographers from the western community. I hope you'll visit and enjoy their works, which I feel bring a unique perspective to #VRChatPhotography. #ConstellationGallery

I finally had a break from work in September! I was feeling burnt out for a while, which affected my mood and energy. In September, I wanted to take photos that let me revisit the fun, beauty, and awe-inspiring side of VRChat. #VRC4Photos #Marycia3D
