Tulen myymään sarjakuvaani "Luuseri kuopassa!" Zine festeillä sunnuntaina 20.9. Sarjakuva on A5-kokoinen, 146-sivuinen satiirinen dystopia Suomen työttömyyskriisistä. (Voi myös tilata!) Lisäksi tulen myymään tapahtumassa zinejä, tarroja, kortteja ja printtejä! #sarjis #sarjakuva #omakustanne

Miun sarjiksen "Luuseri kuopassa!" 2. painos on virheetön! Kun saan kuntoon 1. painoksen korjauspaketit, mainostan enemmän, mutta nyt jo tiedoksi: - 1. (virheellinen) painos + korjauspaketti = 14 e - 2. (virheetön) = 20 e - Mie tuun myymään tätä Zinefesteillä su 20.9. #sarjis | #sarjakuva | #taide

Practising anatomy, especially hands. So far I've been too lazy to properly focus on anatomy, but now I'm in a (hobby type) course so I will hopefully manage to learn something more. :'^)

Another #ceramic clay thingy from last spring (inspired by my fantasy comic I still haven't gotten the funding for). Got to try black clay, which was interesting. Making round shapes proved to be surprisingly difficult.

Lauri Ilari @kortelate.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

Some of the ceramics works I did last spring when I got to try working with clay again. It had been such a long time since I worked with clay previously. I think the last time (before spring) was when I was a teenager? But I didn’t care if I was rusty, it was very fun!

Art sales info! I'll be selling art and prints at #Ropecon (all event), #ZineFest (only Sunday), and #HelsinkiBookfest (all event). Come say hi! ✨️

If you see this, please tell me the worst / most baffling bit of creative feedback you've ever received. Mostly people ask why I draw such depressing stuff. I got it better when I was a teenager, but it gets frustrating when I'm 33, trying to make a statement about society. Also vent art is valid.

Lauri Ilari @kortelate.bsky.social · 23/06/2026

I've been working on a new Finnish comic project for a while, and am hoping to get it done in time to sell it at Ropecon. If not, I will promote it here. The comic is a 100+ page, partly very spontanious, symbolistic, (hopefully a tad funny), semi-satirical dystopia about unemloyment.

Lauri Ilari @kortelate.bsky.social · 23/06/2026

I'm gonna be at both Ropecon and Zinefest (more about those later). If someone happened to get a Sunday spot for half a table at Zinefest as well, would you wanna be table buddies?

Taiken arvovalinta juhlistaa tekoäly"taiteilijaa" oikean taiteen ja luovuuden sijasta. Kulttuurin tukia leikataan, mutta tällaiseen kyllä löytyy rahaa. Generoijan dian mielipiteet eivät ole mitenkään yllättäviä, mutta Taiken tällaiselle roskalle antama näkyvyys on häpeällistä.

From last year, how ever still relevant every day. As a person on autism spectrum, I enjoy structured days, and the idea of being a freelancer and having changing schedule terrifies me. However, I am also yet to find work as an employee, and it's starting to affect on how I see myself as an artist.
