Anyone have any watercolor tips? I always feel like it can’t get enough paint and that my watercolor paper always starts to warp. Maybe I have too much water? Please give me any watercolor tips because I haven’t painted watercolor in so long

NagiReo AU where Nagi is Hades and Reo is Persephone 🥺 Reo is what makes him understand the beauty of life and why people do their best to live their lives to the fullest. He’s such a bright and warm light to Nagi

Pffffft!!! Just saw someone say AI image generators calling themself an artist is the same as “Ordering a subway sandwich and calling themselves the chef because they told the worker what they wanted”

Because it's popular to share sources to build your own refs outside of A/ ridden platforms, here's my drive of pictures I took at armor exhibitions. I took these with my phone, some of them suck but they are pretty detailed. You're welcome to use them as ref. drive.google.com/drive/folder...

I wanna start this by saying I’m a Corviknight fan and I absolutely have beef with the Tinkatink line 😂 BUT hear me out. Same vibes

Korethus @korethus.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

You are absolutely right about that 😂

Ness 👀 Ness I’m watching you. I want him to steal the ball from Kaiser and Isagi. (Love them both but I want to see Ness have his ego moment!)

dedenne and me :)

a scribbly picture of a dedenne and a person. the person has curly brown-blonde hair that is getting frizzled with dedenne's static. dedenne has an excited expression as they perch on the person's shoulder. they seem to be having fun!

You just know I have to make my favorite boy Ness look cute!🥰

Korethus @korethus.bsky.social · 21/01/2025

It’s always fun figuring out how to fit characters canon backstories into AU’s but I’d imagine they would definitely not be accepting of demons/angels/fae folk. Poor Ness! It might change as I develop things but this is the base! 😭 also thank you for the kind words! Always means a lot!

Korethus @korethus.bsky.social · 21/01/2025

I cannot wait to draw him more but next with more expressions including his wings 👀 he’s a very expressive character so it’s going to be fun! I can just imagine his wings fluffing up when he’s angry or embarrassed and I can’t help but laugh a bit lol

BLLK Divine and Desires AU Yukimiya Human Class Occupation: Priest Worked in a city until his vision began to worsen so he moved to a rural town so it was easier for him to memorize the area. He felt as if he made a difference in the smaller community as well. #bllk #bllkau #yukimiya

Sketching up designs for Yukimiya and Ness now! Kaiser might be next but we’ll see! Might do Isagi and Bachira instead

021

Korethus @korethus.bsky.social · 05/01/2025

To me I feel like Ness’s ego is shackled by Kaiser. We see this on his manga cover art with the blue rose’s stem intertwining with the chains. I think with Kaiser telling him to give up on soccer has shattered him emotionally, however, this will either free Ness or destroy him 😰

Korethus @korethus.bsky.social · 04/01/2025

My boy Ness is drowning on that field 😭

020

Korethus @korethus.bsky.social · 04/01/2025

Otoya and Yukimiya saw him falling which lead to Otoya to catch him. He pleaded with Yukimiya to take Karasu in so they could help him recover. Unfortunately Karasu would not be able to regain his flight wing.

BLLK Divine and Desires AU Karasu Angel class (fallen) Type: Yatagarasu Worked in the same city as Otoya for a time. Unknown events lead to Karasu being kicked out of the “Garden” (placeholder name) and a wing being set aflame causing him to lose a flight wing.

First up is Otoya for the Divine and Desires AU (name is a wip) Demon class. Type: incubus Eats dreams/nightmares that converts into energy. This energy is used to heal his own injuries inflicted on himself or grant indulgences/desires to humans. #bllk #otoya #bluelock

Photoshop tip for checking your values while you paint! 1. Make a custom color proof setup (View-->Proof Setup) with grayscale settings. 2. Open your work, then open it again in another window via Window-->Arrange-->New Window for [your file]. Now you have 2 views of the same file.

Photoshop screenshot showing a color view of an artwork, and a smaller grayscale view next to it.

Ya’ll I beg of you to please please do not start gnawing at your acrylic nails while someone is trying to speak with you. Personally, seeing someone *literally* gnawing on their nails while I spoke directly to them is in my top ten uncomfortable and disgust inducing moments of my life 😵‍💫😵‍💫
