I swear to god, I have the worst brain

A dog says "Now that I have health insurance, I'm gonna try and find a therapist!" The cat he is talking to says "That's a great idea!" in a supportive way. Next the dog gives the cat a sort of "what the hell, man?!" kinda look. Finally the dogs says "Um. wow. RUDE" as the cat looks bemused and mildly worried.

Getting sober is really hard, especially when your default state feels like giving up while your drunk self feels like the part of you that wants to fight and scream "I exist!" But over time, it gets easier to keep going and more inviting to enjoy life for what it is.
