Holy shit, Sinners is the best film so far this year. The trailer doesn’t do it justice, it’s much more sophisticated and clever and artistic than you’d expect. The actors nailed it and the music was perfection!!

A movie poster for the new movie ‘Sinners’ starring Michael B Jordan.

My opinion might change on a rewatch, but as of right now I think Lux was a pretty good episode!

The way The Fifteenth Doctor casually brushed off the fact that the diner they’re in is segregated and doesn’t allow black people, damn. Simply put, but a nice attitude to have and it suits his character.

The Doctor is responding to Belinda saying ‘How can you say that?’ After The Doctor tells her to save her outrage for later, because right now they’re busy. (Belinda is outraged at the fact the diner is segregated)

The Doctor says sometimes he waits for people to topple their world.

Belinda looks at him with a confused, sad face.

The Doctor takes it in his stride and says that until then, he lives in the world and shines. Regardless of whether or not he’s accepted there.

Love this moment from The Robot Revolution for a variety of reasons. 15s smile vanishing when Belinda mentions going home, then he puts on the charming facade that usually works. 51st century! Smiles! Mystery! He’s asking her to stay without actually asking her and it’s so manipulative.

Noticing a pattern with RTDs Doctor Who work, he seems to have an obsession with weight. There’s the examples below but also things like the slitheen exclusively targeting fat people, lady Cassandra bragging about how thin she is and so on.

A shot from Lux, an upcoming episode of Doctor Who.

The best book I ever read was Pigeon English, which is based on a true story. So to any book lovers out there I’d highly recommend that!

Using The Daleks as a tool to highlight the potential fascism of the police is SUCH a cool idea, I wish the story focused more on this. Also, it may have been a coincidence in timing but airing this just a few months after the BLM riots was so bold.

Arrogant rich guy Robertson talking to the prime minister about the pressure the uk police force is under.

A shot showing actors throwing bricks in a smokey conflict, it’s a staged scene to display the new weapon for the prime minister.

Robertson smugly says he has the solution for the problem.

A Dalek is revealed to be working for the British police force.

Possibly the best Troughton scene, I like this Doctor’s approach to grieving family members. It’s also sweet that Victoria didn’t want to wake him up because she’s aware how old he is, and assumed he’d need extra rest. ❤️

I can’t believe it took me so long to get round to watching The Thing but wow, what a deliciously grim movie!! There’s no wonder why it’s a classic, the body horror is disgusting in the best way possible.

I’m currently rewatching The Boys S1 and it’s holding up well. Vought making Annie wear a revealing outfit was handled well. IRL, We live in a ‘sex sells’ society and people like Vought only care about clicks and numbers, even if it means objectifying people like Annie.

I think what the monsterverse needs right now when it comes to Godzilla and his character, is for him to become a parental figure once again. It would soften him up, as lately he’s basically been a mindless brute.

It’s such a shame Juice Wrld died so young because he was a natural talent. Freestyling for over an hour is hard, doing it on a classic Eminem beat whilst switching up the flows is even harder! Not many people can do this.

Idk if this is a hot take or not, but these portrayals of Pennywise are genuinely both as good as each other. I can’t really say one is better or worse, they both are creepy and performed well.
