One bright moment out of the catastrophic flooding along the Nepal-Tibet border concerns this unusual stupa. It was created on the banks of the Trishuli River to enshrine relics of Kyabje Penor Rinpoche, and appears to have withstood the raging flood when everything else around it was wiped out.
