Yesterday we had the top3, today I go through the whole volume 3 of the MIRRORLIAR FILMS. A very nice short film compilation. Volume 4 will follow in the next couple of days. youtu.be/PT7oNGngvlY?...

The contrast between Riki Takeuchi the actor and Riki Takeuchi the producer will always be hilarious.

Godzilla Minus Zero coming out means, people write about Godzilla Minus One again. I'm sad.

Took some time off from the gym (or I completely stopped moving for the last few days...) and finally training is fun again. Yay.

Takashi Miikes's assistant director got one of the ass-kickers from Ghost Killer as the action director and made a movie based on a script by Yugo Sakamoto (Baby Assassins) about dudes beating each other up. Sounds good, right? youtu.be/BhsuvN8_fa8?...

Shinya Tsukamoto's new anti-war Vietnam movie "Mr. Nelson, Did You Kill People?" is out. I expected nothing less than the movie of the year, so here are my "short" first impressions. Was I disappointed with such expectations? www.youtube.com/watch?v=IcUf...

My video about Shinya Tsukamoto's new movie "Mr. Nelson, Did You Kill People?" should be out in an hour or so, but I need to sleep. Just check the channel later: www.youtube.com/@Compendiumo...

Thought I should put at least my first impressions of Mr Nelson in a short video and get back to it after reading more about it and watching it again. Short... first impressions... well it's just about one hour...

Somehow today a lot of movies, which I want to see, have been released. At least one of them has a screening late enough to go after work.

This is maybe the most beautiful review of Tsukamoto's "Mr. Nelson, did you kill people?" so far (I checked that person's profile and they have one 5 star movie and that is: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Cute.)

The bar, it needs to clear to be better than Burn, is: Don't make me hate the movie and regret coming to the cinema for about 2-5 minutes. Should be possible, right?

Komdehagens @komdehagens.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

Gonna watch Tetsuya Nakashima's "The Brightest Sun" (時には懺悔を) today. Not particularly looking forward to it, so my expectations are very, very low, but I hope it's at least better than "Burn".
