I wonder why they didn't just adapt both Red and GREEN based on Blue's engine? 🫤 Did they think something blue would sell better in the west than something green?

Although I never really liked her child design, I think she looks good. Certainly not any worse than she did on N64 or 3DS. I'll admit, the moment I saw their new, in-game appearance, I found it a bit jarring. But I, surprisingly, adjusted to their new, more detailed look in very little time at all.

I don't really ever see 1 fandom interacting with another. 🫤 I have seen 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 toxic people in the Pokémon fandom. But mostly involving battling, which I've never been good at 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘺. So, I stick to the "Gotta catch 'em all!" goal and, like Melora said, I stick to a happy corner of things. 😅

And, yeah. I remember the 1ˢᵗ few days of Violet. I don't accidentally run into glitches often, unless I'm trying. But I managed to clip through the walls in that 1ˢᵗ cave in Violet. 😆 It's cool patches can be easily applied, but I hope it isn't used as an excuse to rush production by developers. 🫤

Oh, way ahead of ya. 😆 I haven't missed out on any of the core series. (I've played many of the side games, but there are a lot 😆) It used to be that I got every pair of games as well, but, since the start of the Switch era, I've only purchased one of each pair. Let's Go: Eevee, Shield, and Violet.

110

Kelly J. Klar, Pharm.D @komali100.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

The two series are definitely different. Times I wish we got new Zelda games as fast as Pokémon. On the other end, I wish Pokémon took the time to polish their games before release like Zelda. But that's it. Kinda wish everyone would just shut up and play. 😆 BTW: I've no idea about Star Wars. 😅

121

Kelly J. Klar, Pharm.D @komali100.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Well. I happen to be a fan of both. 😆 I've played Pokémon ever since Red & Blue. Zelda I got into much later. For the longest time, Pokémon wasn't popular. At least in my circles. It was something to be ridiculed. So, I learned a LOONG time ago to just ignore that shit.

121

Kelly J. Klar, Pharm.D @komali100.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Legit asking. I don't follow a lot, so I find myself behind, not knowing about things going on for awhile. Why are there tensions with Pokémon and Zelda fans?

What does the chart with the R-stick down mean? I think the full, small inner shape is supposed to be current EVs that becomes a solid yellow color after maxing out EVs. I've seen some say the transparent, bigger shape is supposed to be Base stats. But then why isn't it the same between species. 😖

Can I please get an answer for something? It Pokémon Legends: Z-A, I'm trying to make sense of the stat-charts and I'm getting conflicting info when I search. What does the chart with the R-stick up mean? Is it just the final calculated value plotted on a 6-point radar chart? pt 1
