during the show, I was surprised with a sticker of my fursona! same artist as the sticker on the left! I keep asking if they have any socials they want me to credit, but they insisted they wish to remain anonymous. wherever you are, thank you so so much again!!!

I'm exhibiting at this year's VCFMW, September 12/13th. That's this coming weekend! I'll be displaying Japanese personal computers released in the 80s/90s, and showing what they can do! You can expect to see systems from NEC, Sharp, and Fujitsu, plus a couple consoles and PDAs for good measure.

text reading "kokoscript @ VCFMW21 - パソコンSAMPLER - A showcase of 80s/90s Japanese personal computing - Visit vcfmw.org for more details!" a map of tables is shown, highlighting tables B522/523. to the side is a cut-out photo of my fursona peeking out of a Sharp X68000

They're remastering me in stunning HD visuals at 60 FPS! whether I like it or not.

two 3D renders of my fursona sitting. left is a low-poly cheerful version of her, right is a higher-fidelity but scared stiff version of her. both are labeled "Original" and "Remastered", respectively

found an extremely early version of my site! it was just this and a single-line placeholder 404 page at the time ...and for comparison, what that same page looks like now

basic layout to an old version of my site, aside from the navbar the only text is "hi. im content." repeating

the modem also came with these cute batteries. plus a pair left corroding inside the modem, nearly destroying it (it survived, somehow)

you might be aware of the Picky Talk, a line of PDAs released in the late 90s by Casio, only in Japan. but did you know it had its own *modem*? users could exchange data over the line if they both owned modems, but Casio also offered a dial-in service (somewhat like a BBS) named "Super Groovy Net"

and that's a wrap! this year's #VCFMW was easily the best thus far, but it also completely wiped me out (eyes nervously at unpacked boxes) thanks to all who stopped by, and even more thanks to those who bought stickers! first time doing that so I'm glad it worked out okay.

most of the stuff I purchased or found at the show

actually it's pretty flaky. the first time I got it to run okay, but relaunching the emulator and rerunning will sometimes result in segfaults/coprocessor overruns. then input to the emulator locks up, with "8251 warning: RX overrun" output on each keypress exiting on a normal run also segfaults
