yeeh fallout 4 modding takes a one file, 4 files in total if i count the blue pic, and the green hue and such and the black pic, but when i extracted from 3d substance painter i got like a total of 16 separate pictures 4 for each.. may try with dota2 in this case and see how the mesh extraction work

that's what i managed doing on zbrush so far as testing of handwork, needs more work but needed to understand the next steps which are related to textures and choosed to start with modding a game's files to get to understand the process..

expirimented on fallout modding scene of modifying existing mods to add more texture settings for the bgsm, but had one issue.. it's the UV maps creating 4 base colors (1 for the body and legs, one for arms, one for feet, and one for neck) just trying to make these four into one>

that's useful, did some progress on zbrush, though had struggled with 3d substance painter, is there a way to mix the 4 sectors of the UV maps into one image so they apply directly as one file for each setting, like light, occlusion, base color etc, tried expirimenting it recently >

I’m a character artist. I’m used to painting skin and hair and clothes... soft textures, basically. I found out the hard way that this approach does not work for rocks. Unless you want them to look like weirdly shiny flesh blobs instead 🤔

in the additional shots it's now giving me a hint to figure out cheekbones work to model a human head. the nose and eye lids on the other hand are gonna be the biggest struggle, let alone the mouth with a thick beard and moustaches

pretty much interesting pipeline of workflow, and on blender 2.79 which i never got around it's clunky old UI.. storyboards are an obvious step in those sketches.. something new i learned is the part of cutting gifs to halves for sprite sheet work-arround.. fascinating! really looking forward to it
