Really exciting development! I see Pyodide used in tools like JupyterLite to lower the barrier to entry for Python by removing the need for a local setup. I’m curious—how do you see SPy and Pyodide fitting into different use cases?

Had a great time at DuckCon #6. So many cool stuff to try, like the airport extension and DuckPGQ. Managed to do a small sports analytics meeting with @tk5.futbol ! Last but not least, we made this awesome picture with Mr DuckDB @hannes.muehleisen.org :-)

What kind of database do you mean? And it needs to be shared between different compute nodes so I’m curious how you make sure the data can be accessed from different places. Especially in case you don’t use a database

Good question. The df will probably be 500mb-2GB (uncompressed). Read is 1 time only, it’s like a queue between two systems.

Let’s assume I have a component that produces objects. Those objects contain multiple attributes and one is a large DataFrame. I need to send the object over the network. Are there any existing libraries that handle (de)serialization and store the DataFrame attributes in an object storage

I need to build an importer for some complex/nested json data. First step is to read the data using Pydantic. But I don't want to write those models myself 🤔 ChatGPT to the rescue.. "create pydantic models for this json, make sure to convert CamelCase to snake_case". Done
