So power is cheaper when excess renewables are avaible, so you may use your heat pump to make hot water or charge your electric vehicle when power is cheap. A lot of that is still in its infancy though. 110

There are also large scale batteries systems with at least 1 Megawatt output with additional capacity of over 2.3 gigawatt hours. More planned. 110

So the local distribution network operator can limit the solar arrays power output by sending a signal to the RCS. 100
