Thank you, Happy Orctober to you to.

So my look Warhammer store has it's anniversary this week and they're running a paint competition with the theme of "Green". Nowt more green than an Ork I guess. Coincidentally I've also been having nostalgia pangs for 2000A.D. #warhammercommunity #Nerdlings #orktober #paintingwarhammer #40k

I've often wondered how difficult the c9nverting Inquistor to 28mm from 52mm would be 🤔

I'm half way through their anthology and I've become inspired enough to make my own Crowl, Spinoza and Grogias. Looking at how many characters GW could make if they just stopped fucking banging out boring Space Marines is unreal. #Nerdlings #paintingwarhammer #warhammercommunity #saveimperialagents

My take on Inquistor Crowl and interrorgator Spinoza.

"Mother am I doing it right?!" I must be, because I've used a plinth and shit (a section of hand rail from the B&Q off cuts bin to be precise) I spent far too long over thinking how to do this. In the end I just banged Jurassic 5 on and had at it. Just got to finish Mean Machine now. #Nerdlings

Cushelle Koala looks like it would slip straight back in to feral mode in a heartbeat. The bear and puppy wouldn't know what had hit them until it was too late.

Behold my Great Unclean One! All the sculpting is now done (barring the base) and it's getting to the painting point now. For my first time sculpting a lot has been learnt and I may well of found something I really enjoy doing. #Nerdlings #paintingwarhammer #nurgle #40k #sculpting

Time for a little cleanser project. Kitbashing is cool, Kitbashing Orks is ice cold. Went for a distinct Mean Machine 2000.A.D vibe on this one. #paintingwarhammer #nerdlings #warhammercommunity #40k

That's my entry for the GW Big Base Bash event done and dusted. The theme was duel and my local had about 30 entries that spanned the entire warhammer hobby. #paintingwarhammer #nerdlings #warhammercommunity #bigbasebash

Progress on my budget Great Unclean One. I'd got to a point where it needed a uniform prime so I could see what was what. Hand, feet and base next. #Nerdlings #nurgle #scratchbuilt #warhammercommunity #paintingwarhammer #Deathguard

£102 for a Great Unclean One Mr. GW? I think not my friend, I shall sculpt my own, for how hard could it be be? 😳 Probably slightly harder than I'd first thought, but still not the most difficult thing I've ever done (we'll see how I feel after hands and feet) #Nerdlings #scratchbuilt #nurgle

So to start the day I was baited in to entering the GW "Big Base Bash" thingy. At 7 a.m this morning I had no interest in doing it, then competitiveness in a WhatsApp group took hold and this is where the day ended. My day went from hobby side eye to Defcon 1 in about 45 minutes 🤣 #Nerdlings

That the painting basics take time and practice. Brush control is one of the most underrated things in our hobby, there are very few short cuts to getting there and the main way of achieving it is practice.

Sci-fi knights are a style I quite like, which is why it was a go-to for my recent electro-priest alternative I've made a few different miscellaneous minis in that vein, even outside of my black templars, for things like knight pilots, skitarii and a unique sister of battle

Two more agents finished. I'm assuming IKEA is still a thing in the 41st millennium as I've no idea where they're getting all these candles from otherwise 🤔 unless it's now a hive world and their tithe is 1 billion tealights (scenario ideas 💡) #saveimperialagents #paintingwarhammer #nerdlings #40k

Two imperial agents, one is a servitor note taker.

After finishing my Rogue Trader Captain it makes sense that a navigator would be needed next. I've gone for a "I know he's a bit on the crazy side and smells weird, but he's the only one who can drive the van" friend vibe, we all know one 😆 #saveimperialagents #40k #warhammercommunity #Nerdlings

A kitbashed navigator with it's own cherub, real fancy like.
