A little preview from the Knock LA voter guide, dropping tonight.
The corrupting influence of money in politics can be seen in the ghoulish way some liberal lawmakers and organizations have come out against Prop 40. All we have to say is that those people — Gavin Newsom, Xavier Becerra, Katie Porter, and all the rest — have betrayed you. They have chosen to take the side of the absolute impunity of the billionaire class over your right to health and life. They would sooner see you and millions of Californians like you sicken and die before calling on the richest people in the history of the world to pay a fraction of their fair share.
Vote yes, and don't forget.

Lodish released a statement addressing the violence that took place on campus during Stritikus' inauguration: "Students tried to enter our president's inauguration and were brutalized by private security and campus police. Many students have serious injuries and one is being taken to the ER. A student was pushed down the stairs. A private guard called students the N-word. One of the strikers was beaten and pushed to the ground by private police. His glasses are cracked and he has a large bump on his head."
