It has traditional static HTML based UI. The launch date explains why; it has actually survided for more than 20 years. I like these good old UIs because I kind of feel nostalgic. It's interesting that the purpose of the website is similar to whtwnd.

I decided to use app.bsky.feed.post to show comments in WhiteWind. The relay consumer will pick posts mentioning the entry. I will use and adjust bsky post embedding UI to show comments partly because they are real bsky posts and partly because I'm not a good UI designer as you might have noticed🥲.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be the case because "relays check signatures and Merkle tree proofs on updates" according to atproto preprint. So constructing MST lazily doesn't seem to contribute to reducing the amount of calculation.
