🧶 It’s #FOFriday and my stranded colourwork jacket (pattern by @knitsedna.bsky.social) is finished, washed, and blocked. The last finishing touches could be covering up the steek edges and adding buttons. Since I almost never close my jackets, buttons seem too tedious to attach. #KnitSky

A hand knit jacket with allover stranded colourwork of acacia leaves is draped on a light grey armchair. The jacket is mainly dusty pink with white patterning over the whole body and sleeves. It has v-neck shaping and the front edging has button holes, but there are no buttons in sight.

🧶Update: Just the front and neck edging missing on this beauty. Even though I’ve done it a few times now, there’s a resistance to cutting my knitted pieces. Am I sure this yarn doesn’t want to be anything else? It’s kind of too hot to work on this, but it’s also so close to finished. #KnitSky
