I forget who said it first but Jesse's stock-in-trade is "weaponized pedantry."
He's concocting a reason to cast critics of Trump's baldly authoritarian executive order as unreasonable — while admitting that they're largely correct and subjecting the order itself to no scrutiny whatsoever.
