"Guess who I bumped into?" Jack Smith was spotted (with a Springsteen Tee) at the "Power to the People" concert by Joanne Leahy. Who thinks he would be a great AG?

Omigosh, thanks so much for the reminder! I had completely forgotten this song, and until now I'd never seen a video of it. Love every second of it, and the guitar was killer! I was 20 when it was released.

Lexington, KY, has them on many streets. Mount Pleasant, SC, had even better ones when I lived there 20+ years ago.

Thank you so much for all you hard work into giving the rest of us better lives with all those videos! ❤️

Nah, he bounced the grenade off the nearest tree back into his location bin. Wish Schmitt would do that.

I use only circular needles and love every minute of it, for socks, afghans, sweaters...everything. They're so much easier to use, and I learned at about age 8 on straights. I was thrilled to learn circulars when I started knitting socks.

I had 16.25% 30-year on my Virginia Beach townhouse (first place I owned) in 1981 when I first moved out of the Navy BOQ. It was a 15-year, 3.25% (nearly 40 years apart) when I last redid my KY house's mortgage to lower the rate from around 5% some years ago. It's been paid off for years now.

I loved it! Latino Heritage Month celebration is ongoing, and the announcer said that's why they played it. Even if not, I'd still love it.

This is a bill in the state assembly of New York, not something the mayor started. You're being deceptive.

I'm pretty amazed after reading some of the prices in this. I was shocked when I had to pay $120 the last two times a couple of years ago, instead of the usual $90. I'm in a Kentucky big city.

I'm a Kentuckian who watched that game. I was thrilled and believed in our guys' talent and abilities, but admittedly wondered how A&M was playing so relatively badly. Now that I've learned this, I understand! GO CATS! And thanks, Joe and Jesse, for all the good things you said.

I hadn't seen Mr. Milgo's response, but I first thought of 5 minutes too. The recommendation of keeping a close eye on it (i.e., don't leave it during the broiling process) is the best.

010

YarnAndAnimals @knitlover1.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

Maybe, if you cook it for all but, say, 2-3 minutes of its baking then turn the oven on broil only and maybe put the pizza closer to the top. Just guessing. I recommend search for the info in a search engine.

So you didn't consider that you are the difference in those two pictures (in the dog one), and that might have made a difference in the voting? 😆

You must be watching and/or reading the wrong material. I've read it MANY times today, including from the Mayor of New York. I am always grateful for what Canada does to help us, which is nonstop, and I know would continue even with the Orange Dufus's tariffs.

People here in replies seem to be looking for perfection while not perfect themselves. I highly recommend watching his performance as host of Jimmy Kimmel Live! this past week, especially the last episode. He reminds us how humans (and him) aren't perfect and was very up-front about himself. 2/2

Why are you showing an old picture of Jelly Roll? He's lost 300 pounds. Please do legit pictures. He's wearing a suit while he's the guest host on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and he looks great. I've appreciated the legitimate, negative things he's said and jokes he's made about Dumpy. 1/2

Former naval officer here (1980s). A sailor under my command had mental health issues. They removed him but gave him a disability, meaning he got payments and help for life from that point, and he was not punished. Things used to be different before this orange dog pile.

Read & loved every Reacher book until author Lee Child (James Grant) let Tom Cruise play Reacher in the movie I wanted (didn't watch it). No Reacher book for me since then. Reacher's 6'5" & ~250# get focus. Cruise is a 5'7" weenie & I already didn't like him. TG this series was made! Love Ritchson!
