It'll be a little while, but while doing random songs I guess I started work on the next album

Gamers when Developer reuses an animation: "they should be nailed to a cross and shamed for all eternity for their sin of sloth" Corporation removes physical media for further control of the market: "well yeah why wouldn't they lmao are you poor?"

They call it Thall and it's sweeping the nation. Metal guitarists around the globe are currently competing in who can scoop and distort their tone the most while editing in as much random noise as possible into their riffs

I made the decision to just play FFVII Rebirth without finishing Remake. I don't remember how far I got into Remake but I remember wondering when we'd get to the fireworks factory the entire time. Everytime Cloud slowed down to a leisurely stroll to let characters talk at you I wanted to die

I used to lurk 4chan a lot for years but came to the realization that constant exposure to the most toxic people alive was doing a lot of damage to my mental health so I left. Then I left Twitter for the same reason. Now the entire internet is like this, you can't escape it

No game will ever get this much benefit of the doubt from me as Final Fantasy XIII has. Like pretty much everyone else I hated it 15 years ago for all the common reasons. Since then I've of course learned that it's secretly great and now when I'm 20 hours in I finally get it.

I just wasted an hour trying to make a list of my favorite albums. I started out with a 3x3 grid lmao (no particular order, just numbered for readability)

What really confuses me about AI music is how some people literally just do AI music for the sake of doing it. I assumed that it'd be used as an alternative to stock music for stuff like movies and video games, I mean I wasn't thrilled about it but at least I understood the utility in that regard.

This is just me venting my frustrations, but I just got a new PC and I've bought a lot of software in the past 15 years I've been making music. Good lord so many companies really make the legal route inconvenient

After Piquancy ran Lunistice on Flame Fatales I gained like a 100 followers on Spotify. Either someone decided to bot follow me at the exact date when a game I composed for got exposure or smaller artists are not allowed to get a lot of followers at once because those followers were removed

I was this close to cutting "echo" from VGR, I decided not to because "Fields" is one of few songs that people have told me is their fav and I cut that song from Whoop. Lo and behold Echo has been singeled out as a fav which is so funny, if I think something is a good idea I should do the opposite

Somewhere along the way I started writing entire songs in midi like this. This method is: A. Highly efficient with sole focus on melody and harmony B. Isolates the most engaging part of music making leaving arrangement and sound design for "later", resulting in songs that will never be finished

People claim that Masato Nakamura didn't return for Sonic 3 (& Knuckles) because Sega weren't willing to pay him his desired rate. How much was he asking for if the cheaper alternative was literally Michael Actual Jackson?

Bit the bullet and bought Ozone 11, been slumming it with 7 for nearly 8 years now. Figured I should upgrade before I start nailing the final masters for the new album. Those sons of bitches discontinued the standalone version so now I have to master in a DAW

It's scary what NPCs in this game are capable of. Apart from their implied ability to procreate consider what we've witnessed so far: cars, planes, smartphones... the technical ingenuity of this artificial civilization almost mirrors our own.

Just binged the new trailer for GTA 6! Looks like more GTA which I look forward to, however I just have this lingering feeling that there'll be something about it that will upset the gamer. The hype is through the roof, after all it's been 12 years since the last one.
