Panel 1: Gage rises from his curled position in a horrified pose, his fingers curling almost claw-like as he trembles in terror. “N-no… Please…”
Panel 2: The man behind aaron suddenly wraps a garotte wire around Aaron’s neck, an otherworldly glow pouring out as it “cuts” into his skin. Aaron: “What–”
Panel 3: gage lunges from his seat towards Aaron, his hands now truly clawed as he reaches for Aaron’s neck. “AARON!” Aaron’s legs swing as he attempts to curl in defense and he lurches back, his glasses falling off of his face from the motion. “HEY!” gage: “STOP. PLEASE”
Panel 4: gage scratches Aaron’s throat, leaving deep red marks.
Panel 5: gage collapses onto the couch before aaron, in between his legs, one now curled on the couch. He’s out of breath, whimpering “no…no…”
Panel 6: aaron is horrified, in shock as he touches his fingers to his throat. “GAGE?!”
Panel 7: gage looks up at aaron, his eyes narrow and his expression still terrified. “Aaron, plea–” he is cut off by what he sees.
Panel 8-9: aaron looking down at gage, the red marks on his throat vibrant, with no one behind him. Gage: “you… what…?” it was a hallucination.
Panel 10: Gage looks up at Aaron, eyes brimming with tears as he sniffles and attempts to explain what he saw, unable to keep himself from staring at the nail marks he left on aaron’s neck. “Your throat… i thought… i… i saw…”

Page 3:
Final panel: aaron leaning back against the arm of the couch with gage nestled between his legs. Gage buries his face in aaron’s front and wraps his arms tight around him as he trembles and sobs. “It was one of them… ashes…” “i’m sorry…” “he was gonna…” “you were gonna…” “i’m so sorry…” aaron holds gage close and looks down with a softer expression, one hand on his back and one stroking through gage’s curls as he assures him, scratch marks still visible on his neck. “Don’t worry, gage… we’re safe… i’ll get the pill and we’ll get you to sleep.”
