Wir sind da leider manchmal etwas schüchtern. Bei uns ist es umgekehrt, ich bin viel früher auf andere mit dem Thema zugegangen. Und tausche mich auch gerne dazu aus, wie man mit den Rabauken so umgeht 😂

It would be too easy too mock, but the user is actually highlighting an issue successful FOSS has to fight daily. We do not have marketing that would explain the software. Instead we let the users rely on mailing lists, Discord servers, … Something to think about #wireshark

The user was not aware that you need to be connected to a network in order to capture from it, so he asked the question "To capture traffic, do you need to be connected to the network if you are physically near it"
