He’s blind because he is inbred. There are other genetic anomalies that tiger has. He was likely the result of people trying to breed for white tigers.

I ❤️ Bristol Bay. One of the most beautiful sunrises I’ve ever seen was in Dillingham.

Correct but Lucas sold to Disney. My friend started with ILM in the mid 1999s and his 25 year statue is a crystal Mufasa from the Lion King. It might be all ILM and Lucasfilms but it’s fucking Disney.

There is a Yoda statue at the Disney studios in the Presidio in San Francisco.

It’s protected on the national historic registry. That’s how Trump got it so cheap. It had to be restored. Whatever is done with it will have to be in accordance with those rules. I would love to see it become The Marjorie Meriwether Post Center for the Arts. Nothing with that fascist name on it.

Forgot to add that according to the Bureau of Reclamation, Mead is at 1038’. Yeah… 3 ft and 1.3 million households are screwed. Federal forecasts have it dipping below 1,035 by the end of November. It could fall toward or below 1,000 ft by summer 2028.

I briefly misread that as Mojita not Monjita. Thinking why did they name the drink after a bird.

Oh I thought they were molasses cookies or ginger snaps. Thinking those looked delicious. I like chocolate chip cookies but I will eat molasses cookies over chocolate chip.

If Lake Mead drops below 1035’ above sea level production will be reduced by 60-70%. If it drops below 950’ it will cease entirely. water it is critical infrastructure. Power, agriculture, drinking water, etc. Americans have become too comfortable with just turning on the tap & there is water.

the 7 states on the Colorado River to figure it the fuck out. Lakes Mead & Powell are getting dangerously close to the point where it will affect the electrical grid in the SW. Hoover Dam provides 1.3M households power in CA, AZ & NV.

Did some math… the EU will be releasing 50 million barrels of diesel. The US uses 3.6-4.1 million barrels a day … so that’s about 2 weeks of diesel. 2 weeks. FTDJT

Because this is how the trickle down works. All the low income and middle class trickle down their money into the funnel to the rich. Not a pyramid but a funnel

If it was my daughter, my daughter’s friend, my friends daughter… they would not find the bodies. It would be the best horror movie plot.

James Baldwin - I love America more than any other country in the world and, exactly for this reason, I insist on the right to criticize her perpetually.

I would throw in that it is probably even worse after they leave the wrestling scene & have no coverage & aren’t making as much money. There was an article out yesterday citing that Marshawn Lynch experienced the equivalent of 7 car crashes per game. What is that in a WWE match? CTE, joint, back…

TUNA NOODLE CASSEROLE!!! We call it toodle in my house. I do make it with cream of celery soup since my son is allergic to mushrooms. Egg noodles and shredded cheese frozen peas. You can bake it with crushed potato chips on top if you don’t have HBP

This is probably so he doesn’t have to use a walker in public. There is a photo out there of him in the WH using a walker. They can’t afford to have him appear weak.

Why?!? Like historians have written about it. Woodward and Bernstein wrote all about it. This is yet another waste of taxpayer dollars to distract and deflect. If Nixon wasn’t so corrupt then we can slide the scales for Trump. What a goddamn twatwaffle

Want Social Security to be solvent? Take the salary cap off. Medicare is a whole other mess. No one is talking about the Medicare trust reaching deficit spending. Likely they will have to increase Medicare taxes and have major reforms to the program in order to not have to reduce benefits.

Mom is a polio survivor. Grandma lost a cousin to diphtheria. I know an adult who was hospitalized with pertussis in 2002. I volunteered in a children hospital where I held babies with RSV. Whoever told you that vaccination is bad is a fucking idiot.

At least Josh wants to stop stock trading by Congress. He’s still a 🔥💩 but this guy magnified the stupidity of most MAGA members of congress who try to carry water for the president. I would bet $$ that this came from the WH. Someone fed this to him. He could not have that information without help

History doesn’t repeat itself but it rhymes. If you don’t stop and look around you will miss something that is important. The one thing Trump doesn’t want to be is Jimmy Carter. Stagflation, hostilities with Iran, gas crisis/shortage… any of this sound familiar?!?

I am at a state right now where I am just perpetually pissed off. I am angry all the time. I am furious at the state of our country and the world. I wake up and I literally don’t want to hear anything and just stay in bed. Depressed, oh yeah. I just can’t anymore. I can’t be alone.

we are nation falling apart not because of another country but because of our own arrogance. We are a country that believes our own propaganda that we are better than everyone else & have hampered our own citizens who are too uneducated to challenge the system.

Kirsten @kmschubring.bsky.social · 30/09/2026
4) we don’t hold anyone accountable. Nixon, Trump, Cornell 7, Epstein, ICE, etc. If you’re rich, male and have power you skate. We whitewash history, lie about our origins, refuse to acknowledge failures and therefore NEVER LEARN FROM THEM.
120
Kirsten @kmschubring.bsky.social · 30/09/2026
3) 21% of Americans are illiterate. 54% read at a 6th grade level and the average reading level is between 7-8th grade. Americans can’t fucking read a newspaper. They lack critical thinking skills. They don’t understand science or history, get info from social media & can’t tell facts from fiction
120
Kirsten @kmschubring.bsky.social · 30/09/2026
2) we don’t teach actual history. We teach mythology. American Exceptionalism is propaganda. We are not the only nation that has freedom. In fact we tend to change when we are the last ones standing. Letting women vote, ending slavery, etc.

Kirsten @kmschubring.bsky.social · 30/09/2026
I think I can put a couple of ideas out there. 1) We are a nation built & founded on racism & misogyny. It was in the founding documents. We pay lip service to ending inequality but have done little to actually address it, change our culture or punish bad behavior. See Cornell 7 & recent lynchings.
