Here's my steps in designing and drawing a new foe… though in this case it’s based on an existing one. I need to pose the foe a bit while drawing to make sure it can do all the poses I will need later. Original concept art was by @kmau in 2009!

I'm positively surprised by the Ocarina of Time Remake, just not on board with the porcelain-doll look of Link. Lately, Nintendo tends to strip away the coolness and bite from the presentation of their protagonists, which is detrimental for games that are meant to appeal to boys, I feel.

The general consensus I've read was that nsfw doesn't need the bonus exposure from the frontpage since users will seek it out by themselves anyways, so staff focuses on developing other parts of the site.

I think this is a holdover from the Movie Portal. Due to popular vote, the daily top 5 movies would only consist of A-rated movies if they weren't excluded, so when the Art Portal launched a similar rule was made to keep the frontpage clean.
