Per AARP, 1 in 3 Americans age 65+ face some form of measurable cognitive or memory issues. AI is slated to automate most white collar jobs within a few years. So, what manual labor jobs will be available for all these forgetful people over 67, just as the younger labor force is also now unemployed?

I just watched a CNN interview with a TX woman who voted 3x for Trump, went to like 40+ Trump rallies, then flipped on Trump because of the Epstein files. Even met with a survivor. Then she went on to say she’ll vote for Ken Paxton. WTAF? That’s the level of mental illness infecting the GOP.

Washington doesn’t let you know when your ballot has been mailed, but it does notify when ballots are received and counted, or if a signature cure is required. Also allows you to download/ print a replacement ballot if yours doesn’t arrive in the mail.

My folks encouraged me to get a credit card early on (I think I was 17, and needed a co-signer initially) and to be *very* responsible on using and paying it off, so I had a good credit history and never needed to rely on anyone else. They wanted to be sure their daughters were never “trapped”.

Every item on that list happened in my lifetime. I still recall my utter shock as a child finding out that before that 1974 law, I couldn’t have bought my own home. Even as a very young child I saw how unfair life was to my gender.

I just looked it up, in Washington state, if you don’t receive a ballot you can go online, download and print a duplicate. Thankfully we have tons of ballot drop boxes around too. We also get notified when ballot is received, when counted, or if there is a cure notice.
