ENDORSEMENT ALERT: @cleanwatermn.bsky.social has been an incredible leader in passing Minnesota's nation-leading PFAS "forever chemical" (Amara's Law) and environmental justice legislation. I am honored to be endorsed by them, and will be a clean water champion in the Legislature. Let's go!

ENDORSEMENT ALERT: @friendsbwcaw.bsky.social endorsed me for MN House! The BWCA is under attack in D.C. Cynical politicians are using cover of ICE's surge to try to undo protection for the wilderness. State government is the last line of defense. I'll be a Boundary Waters champion.

The harm to our community continues. It's important to let our elected officials hear about it, and it's important for our elected leaders to take action on all fronts to protect our community and ameliorate the harms they can address. The Fridley City Council meets tonight at 7.

First Lutheran Church was founded a century ago to minister to Norwegian immigrants, and they celebrate this heritage with a lutefisk dinner. I appreciate their commitment to ministering to immigrants continues to this day. I don't appreciate the lutefisk very much though.

Housing affordability is a big issue for our area. But absentee investors are buying up manufacture housing communities and jacking up rents. That's why I support the Manufactured Housing Bill of Rights, which caps rent increases and helps residents own their communities.

Electricity prices are a key affordability issue. One cost driver we need to address is demand from proposed data centers. MN is making some progress, but we have work to do to ensure mega-sized data centers don't socialize the costs of their power while privatizing the profit.

I've dedicated my career to connecting people to their government & bringing people to the Capitol to advocate for their community. Metro State U's Model Legislature is a great example of helping people see themselves as change agents, instead of passive recipients of lawmaking.

MN has world-class health care, but only if you can access it & afford it. Our district is on the front lines of health care closures & it's only going to get worse if we don't take action. Health care is deeply personal for me, I'll never forget its importance for our community.
