I googled his obituary. My bio dad died at the age of 55 from a “rage induced heart attack”. Yes. It’s a thing. I’m 44. There’s no way I’m going out like that. Behold my gym selfie. I currently do a 25 min mile + don’t know how to use the machines. But I hopefully I won’t perish in 9 years.

Few things are as humbling as getting a gym membership after 20 years and not knowing how to make the treadmill work, muttering “da fuq do I do with THAT?!” at machines and keeping your purse with you because you forgot locker rooms existed. Not to mention the “before photos”. This is day one.
