My final #skunktember of the year is dedicated to @gooeydeer.com. Jaiy was one of the kindest souls in the Bay Area and was fantastic for hosting me for Folsom 24 and Dore 25. Even reached out wanting to do things at a con I wasn’t even at. Someone who I considered a very close friend. Rest easy 💐

You see this rubber skunk mulling about at a con. What would you do with and/or to them? 🦨 :3 #skunktember 📸 @ryepony.bsky.social #rubberfur #latex #rubber

CW: Vent Bottled up feelings that have been off and on for a very long time... Alt text available.

The following is not intended to stir something or seek attention or resources. This is me shouting into the void and will likely be the only time I share something like this.

Cons and kink events lately for me have been a weird feeling, especially in recent times over the last several years. I always had anxiety about how my experience would go, if I’d even do anything fun and such. Most of the time I set no expectations of anything. Sometimes it goes well, others it doesn’t. But I fell I can never shake this feeling, especially now more than ever.

To be open about it, I feel like I don’t really fit in anywhere. Whether at a con, in a friend group, anywhere. And since discovering I was non-binary, I feel these thoughts have gotten worse.

I feel as if I don’t meet a certain criteria to really be considered a part of anything or be accepted in a lot of places. I get the feeling I’m still “too cis” to be considered non-binary. I’m not the party hard type. I’m not a twink. I’m not a femboy. I’m too anxious to reach out to friends or further converse because I don’t want to impede on anything. Where I do

The only real exceptions to this are the times I visit others outside of a con environment and the times I went to Pawsome in the UK. Those have really been the only times where I felt I was genuinely accepted and included for who I am. I’m not discounting any real and close friendships I have. I probably wouldn’t be who I am today without you guys and I am sincerely grateful to have you in my life.

I feel extremely guilty for even sharing this. I hate venting publicly but I’m too anxious to really reach out to friends and such out of fear that this would drive them and others away. And I can’t help but say sorry for even opening up about this at all.

If you’re still here, thank you for reading what I have to say at the very least. I will be going back to my normal self after a few days.

CW: Breathplay, mild panic Back in 2019, I met up with @damousepaws.bsky.social at BLFC and he decided I should do some mascot training. Full PVC and bag underneath the suit. And since it's Easter, why not a rabbit? #breathplay

New Year’s resolution for me would be to be more outgoing, going to more parties and such, and playing more. I feel in years past I’ve been a lot more reclusive given work and life stresses and want to change that for the better. Happy new year! 📸 @archerwolf.bsky.social #latexfur #rubberfur

Was doing some cleanup and organization of my drives and found this piece I received from @spacepupsilver.com a few years ago of my wah that was based on an old vid of mine at the time. Absolutely love this and still have this sort of headspace every time I don the wah 💜 #rubberfur #latexfur

Out of every con I have been to, @pawsome.bsky.social was the best one, period. I actually got to do things with mutuals and honestly felt included and accepted, more so than most US cons. I honestly wish I could do more with others/mutuals at US cons. 📷 @dracorumorder.bsky.social #rubberfur
