@lostreflector.bsky.social - What is the song that Trey is singing before the band drops into "2001" on 08.28.93? If anyone would know, I'm betting you will. I can't place it, but that isn't saying much.

Completely enjoying the hell out of the new season of the Good Ol' Grateful Deadcast, Summer Magic 1985, as the in-person stories are next level, as you said, gonzo. Thanks for shining a light on this tour for us @bourgwick.bsky.social. Exceptional work, as always!

@lostreflector.bsky.social - Do you think there is any chance the mini drum kit sticks around past MSG? Or was it the obvious 2 night only situation? I'd love to see it continue through the rest of the year.

@brokensymmetry.art - STOKED that 09.26.91 is finally getting an official release. Absolute barn burner of a show! Have the circulating SBD tapes, but the Dave's Picks Vol. 59 is going to primo quality. #gd #davespicks

I heard the cover of "New Speedway Boogie" last night on the local jazz station. I never heard of this group before, and they do a cover of "Bird Song" as well. Anyone else heard of these guys? @brokensymmetry.art @bourgwick.bsky.social ::Club d'Elf::

Exceptional time at Trey last night here in Minneapolis. Jeff added so much to show, opening things up considerably. Great night of music. Loved the special shoutout to the Slave to the Traffic Light from that theatre in ‘94 (on a Live One). #trey #acoustictour

Looking to find a new home for Dave's Picks Vol 1 and 2 — both on limited edition LP. Both copies are mint. If you know of anyone that is interested, have them DM me. Thanks. @brokensymmetry.art — tagging you for more post visibility; my apologizes in advance.

If #phish is going to go the route of no-repeats, here is what I quickly came up with. Any insight @lostreflector.bsky.social David Bowie, Fluffhead, Sample, Sand, The Wedge, Prince Caspian, Kill Devil Falls, Wilson, NICU, Runaway Jim, Julius, Horse, Silent in the AM, Limb By Limb...

In case you need it, the "Scarlet Begonias" from 03.20.77 is a powerhouse monster. Give it a spin and enjoy; it's a great way to start the day!

I'll admit, I haven't listened to the absolute beautiful and exploratory meat of the show is from 04.07.72 in awhile. PITB, Truckin' through Wharf Rat...mercy sakes. The GD hit the ground running on this legendary, important tour. #dead #e72

Last night was an exceptional evening of music brought to higher levels with Tiger making an appearance. Soulfully wonderful to hear that guitar make music again. Quite emotional at times. Derek played it the way he should have: like Derek. #ttb #beacon #nyc

archive.org/details/gd19... This one is new to my radar, even after all these years, and is an exceptional recording of a very good set. As someone mentions, I wonder why Phil wasn't present. @brokensymmetry.art - any insight on that aspect of this show?

The PITB > The Wheel > PITB is sublime from 02.03.78. The front of Playing is an exceptional exploration. This sandwich reminds me of the stellar PITB > Supplication > PITB from 09.24.76. Nothing wrong with any PITB sandwich really.

I know the 60th anniversary boxed set brought us the great partial Alpine Valley show from 81. Don’t sleep on the night before, the 10th, from the St. Paul Civic Center! From tip to tail, the show delivers.

If you wanna pay tribute to Bob Weir, do not pass on the PITB from Ace. An absolute letter perfect version. One of my all time favorites.

It’s been a long, long time since I’ve heard a “new” Grateful Dead song. But Spotify’s GD shuffle exposed the rare beauty of a song called “Early Morning Rain”. Quite the tune!

@davidlemieux.bsky.social - thanks again for an amazing 2025 of GD music! After the recent London edition of the seaside chat, I went back and listened to 03.14.81 from ETR. The back half of that first set is pure 🔥 with a special call out to Passenger. Mercy that post lyrics part is to “11”.

Having fantastic time reading “Loud and Clear” in conjunction with “Grateful Dead Gear”. Great companion pieces. Nice to be reminded how revolutionary the GD were with their sound in their early years. True sonic pioneers! “Primal Dead” hits a little stronger than normal in my current chapters.

@davidlemieux.bsky.social — Getting caught up on E72 shows this morning with 04.24. The 'Dark Star' "shining" part triggered a story that you shared between you and JN. I just don't remember where you shared that story. Do you? I'd like to revisit it. Thank you! New DP arrived today — happy day!
