I finished book 49 which was K.J. Heritage's (@kjheritage.bsky.social), "Shattered Worlds". This is book 3 in the Vatic Trilogy. Vatic is a Skilled, an empath many special abilities. He is in the employ, and is sent into a rival company's space to infiltrate on a brutal prison planet. Great book!

Yikes. The #AlienEarth finale. Was that it? That was perhaps the poorest episode of the lot (and none of them were that good, apart from ep3 on the ship). They've not only neutered the Alien (What the actual fuck?) but worse than that, they removed any and all tension. What a total mess.
