I’ve been stressing aging the past couple days and I think a big part of it is, over the last 5-6 years I’ve consistently thought “oh, I don’t need to worry about getting older, the fandom will age with me” But that seemingly just wasn’t true. Idk whatever everyone went but suddenly everyone 1/2

I think it’s probably because A: to some degree people do just say the 1 page resume is dead B: everyone is so worried about AI filters tossing their resume for missing a few keyword matches that it feels like more is always better, even if it may not be

My job functions and compensations have not changed as a result I seemingly cannot find a job any easier because of it I was so hopeful to try to pivot into the reverse engineering space of infosec (I did the sans GREM) but even entry level positions pass on me So yeah, I mean it :/
