It's very funny that you describe it that way because that's honestly very close to the kind of dynamic I imagine for my hcs of Ayin's parents. And I think if Ayin realized he got into a super similar dynamic it would inflict lethal amounts of white damage.

I like them a good bit! I enjoy the notion of them being a star crossed friends to lovers to enemies who are occasional lovers across opposing lines kind of vibe.

Yeah considering all the Old Parr she drinks it wouldn't surprise me if she smelled like eau de old whiskey barrel.

If this person is in the Udjat with Jamila she'd probably be very nervous depending on what missions her lover is sent on, or the idea she may not come back to her in spite of her confidence in her skills. So the first thing she'd do seeing her after a mission is embrace her.

No need to apologize! I've seen people give them a very interesting dynamic. The interplay of guilt and desire. The notion of duty vs the bonds made and how those things are resonant all throughout the City. Especially in the differences between the LobCorp/Ruina versions.

I think that in the Sinner Swap April Fools event where everyone bodyswaps, instead of getting shut out of the Gesellschaft because she's not Gretchen, Dulcinea gets inundated by so many angry Fausts spamming her at once that she gets a migraine so bad it makes her nauseous.

Pro writing tip If you're writing a scene and trying to line up the words feels like putting your teeth on a belt sander Sometimes the solution is scrapping it and starting over. Don't let yourself feel like it's a waste of time, that's the sunk cost fallacy talking.

The bill has been opened to feedback. Rather than dooming about the proposal, you can tell them exactly how you feel about the act here. ec.europa.eu/info/law/bet... With how much of an uphill battle Chat Control is having, you should never assume it's worthless to fight these draconian bills.

It depends. I usually try to write for at least an hour a day, so maybe about 1000 words since that's about my average in an hour. But if I'm really locked in it can be more.

Overall, I think fatherhood as a whole would suit him and make him happy. But given he can't "father" a child at all, he might need time in the future to come to terms with that option being unavailable to him.

Valencina is actually a very good cook since she learned how to cook good quality meals for her superiors when she was still a Soldatto. She's picky about her food now but is very unmotivated about it so rarely bothers to do it herself.

Heathcliff isn't overly bothered by smoke since Mr Earnshaw and his rich buddies used to smoke back when he was in WH He just never picked up the habit himself. So he's fine with Ryōshū doing it around him. She thinks it's a fun party trick he can tell what she's smoking by smell
