I was an IATSE stagehand, a set artist, show support. I love theater and shows so much, I have remained close to the biz my whole life. The last venue I saw a show in wasn't even in the US... Our venues are now political fortresses; almost exclusively controlled by allies of one political worldview.

Thinking back to 2003. The whole US had been nonstop angry for two years, and H.P. stories were popular. I remember not wanting anything to do with She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named's books. Something about the story themes was entirely off-putting. Never once imagined she'd become such a divisive figure.

AI Robo-Posters Don't Read Stickies... -but for some reason, they'll still go into your old previous posts and "like" them so you'll follow them. This last one posted a lot about game theory, and Nash. I do not understand how that works. By its very design, Gen AI circumvents Nash Equilibrium.

Made an ugly planting table out of a freecycled pallet, salvaged lag bolts, and a fallen tree. No expense was spared, because none was involved. Even reused the nails. Joinery on the legs was done with handsaw and hatchet. Not much to look at, but it is sturdy enough.
