Sapphic fiction author and reader. Books are my happy place. Walking is my salvation.

Hiking is my salvation but I'm struggling on the energy front so I'm going to dive into this beauty. First up is Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney: "I cannot be the sort of person life demands me to be - so why not try and be my own self." (1914) #WomensHistoryMonth

So, most of the time I'm awake (!) I either write or read. Sometimes, I write about what I've read, but only if I really like something. Thanks to Jae for the ARC. Those of you who know me will know I only write honest opinions!

I've been cooking in the Sapphic Books Kitchen. Very tasty it was, too.

When you've finished the 1st draft of the novel you've been living and breathing the past few months and then you're lost. That.

In today's very random message: I need names for two (fictional) cats. One is shy and affectionate, the other is aloof. Help me, please!

When you're writing in one genre and then a very marketable idea in another, very different, genre invades your thought processes ... 🤪

I have written many many words today and now my eyes feel like they are about to fall out.
