personally, whenever making characters i tend to lean into the lore for that species/world. if you can fit any lore about fari (such as the types and their culture) i'd be interested in reading it 👀 (not sure if the guide will be solely images or a page so i'm not sure how much space there will be)

010

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 21/06/2026

aspect ratio that screams "this was drawn in colors!3D"

010

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 21/06/2026

i have no idea what to do with these old guys lol if you choose either of em feel free to do whatever!

110

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 14/06/2026

(im brainfarting on what specifically im asking for is called, like info on the species. i know you've been posting fari art lol)

010

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 14/06/2026

oh boy i just got hit with remembering i made two, but the only image i could find is from like 2014 LOL do you have any resources on what fari look like now?

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

trying to remember why i have 4 tabs of northern mole cricket open

020

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

is it okay to use furry tags if my art is furry-adjacent??? it doesn't really have the typical furry look and i'm not sure if i'd be classified as a furry but idk maybe furries might wanna look at my lil guys???

000

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 22/05/2026

uhh anyways you guys wanna see my boy? here's my boy #art #oc #digitalart #furryart #furry

A light grey, dog-like creature with folded ears floating against a dull blue background. He has his right hand in the pocket of his dark grey hoodie. He is wearing a necklace that looks like it has a snowflake in the pendant.

i dont know why i keep getting sicker this year, the doctors i've been going to can't figure it out either. but i'd like it to stop, please.

001

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 03/05/2026

honestly when they re-released the originals i wish they had some sort of backup data because when the battery died i lost the lineage i'd raised 💔 which i know isn't tracked on P1 anyways, but it still kinda stinks... my first tama lived to the ripe old age of 34 days lol

010

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

spoiler alert. the miis are gays

020

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 06/04/2026

fuzz is the oddball here and it's probably self defense LMAO being a memory virus probably makes him some sort of forbidden apple that might let them escape their digital prisons

001

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 06/04/2026

especially caine vs kinito, they have some things in common and would probably try to consume each other's databases

100

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 06/04/2026

i need the ability to make polls so i can ask who'd win caine v kinito v fuzz

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 27/03/2026

OOO i'll have to try that! because every time i want to transfer photos via sd card i gotta save & close, turn off my switch, take the sd card out...

110

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 27/03/2026

just so you know, you CAN get screenshots & video from tomodatchi life if you're using an sd card. you just can't use the switch to phone feature. though when i'm playing i do end up just recording the screen to show people things on discord, haha

A screenshot of Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream Welcome Edition. A mii of Shard is saying, "When I talked to the lil guy about flipnotes, we both got super into it.

oh riiiight im allowed to post basically any doodles this is my account lol anyways heres an ancient character of mine

A drawing on paper with colored pencil. It depicts a pink, cat-like creature with X's for eyes, sharp black teeth, and a long lizard-like tail. It's floating with its front legs loosely outstretched.

061

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 06/03/2026

also colored pencils get dull so fast and then you can't really undo the messed up line and it suuuuucckkkksssss

010

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 06/03/2026

i don't really post my pencil art it brings out all the flaws i can hide better with digital my shaky hands, my warped perspective could anyone love something so imperfect? can you learn to?

A pencil drawing, colorless aside from blue highlights. A bipedal animal stands at a railroad crossing holding an umbrella in the rain. The crossing gate is down with the lights flashing blue. The text reads: "Didn't you see the news today? I heard they said it looked like rain"

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOWLBY!!!!!! 🎉🩵 i'm glad i got to know you better over this past year ^^ i hope you have a wonderful birthday and a great year! @cerealbowlby.bsky.social

An image split in two by a blue, starry background and a red background of code.

On the blue side, Bowlby is floating holding his trusty DSi. He's looking at The Guardian beside him, who's holding his shoulder reassuringly. The Guardian is gripping a root of the Elder Negative to prevent its spread, with his tail trying to nip at it.

On the red side J.A. Staff floats upside down, appearing to be falling alongside Fuzz, who appears more scratchy like a drawing. Fuzz has a smug grin on their face.

my character for #GreatestBlade! i wasn't expecting to join, but i had such a vivid idea of this guy that i had to enter haha #OCEvent #OC #Art #DigitalArt

Dan Doughty, a brown anthropomorphic creature resembling something like a dog or bear. He's wearing a brown apron and warm winter wear. He looks cautious, holding a chef's knife in front of him.

The text reads:

Nicknames: Dan, Danny
(it's not short for Daniel)
Identity: Male (he/they)
Age: 23 (young adult)
Height: 5'8" (to head) 6'0" (to ears)
Occupation: he's trying!!

A relatively fresh culinary graduate who, despite praise for his cooking, can't seem to land himself a job "in the big leagues" due to his subpar knife skills. They're a gentle giant (for his species, at least) with a passion for their craft, but he's a bit shy in social interactions that don't involve cooking

What a guy like him is doing here, armed with nothing more than his trusty chef's knife, is a mystery to most competitors

He has a vague idea of how to wield a weapon from his favorite games and shows, but otherwise has no idea what they're doing

Their abilities match a human's. He's somewhat strong due to his bulk and has great reflexes from his schooling, but is otherwise unremarkable

Memento ("Mimi"), an ordinary chef's knife. His sidekick in the kitchen!

A gift from his parents for getting into culinary school, this knife was custom made to fit perfectly in his big hands. Well crafted, sturdy, and lovingly maintained, 5 years later it still looks new and cuts beautifully! Through tough times it reminds him of those he loves and love him, that he has a place in his passion, and that a Doughty never gives up. It resembles a german style chef's knife

personally the only reason i'm always online is i'm struggling to find things i can do irl with my limitations, haha...slowly but surely i'm figuring that out! i do hope things loosen up a bit for you though, if it's been stressing you!

120

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 13/02/2026

well you can't expect someone to be everywhere always. things take priority, things get busy. take the time you need! and when you do have that extra time, your friends will be there to welcome you back ^^

no dice on finding a surviving download, but the software might be "AOL Safety and Security Center". it seems to basically just be mcafee lol anyways i'll work with what i have for now

100

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 11/02/2026

OK SO. 1. i think i got the original program wrong. 2. the gif i found only has half the frames. so i wonder if i'd have any luck finding a download for the other one...it's older though, so it might hit the same dead end

100

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 11/02/2026

most of that time was spent trying to find a download of active virus shield since another ancient video showed that this might be from a spyware scanner, i was going to try to rip the sprites directly but unfortunately the original mirror went down in 2024 and i genuinely couldnt find another

110

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 11/02/2026

i got so annoyed at how blurry this gif was and how it only got worse as an emote so i tracked down the highest quality version i found on a dead link on a yt video from 2008 that happened to have been saved once ever the wayback machine and now im cleaning it up why am i like this

a screenshot of discord showing two blurry stills of the AOL guy

a screenshot of clip studio paint where the GIF of the AOL guy is being cleaned up. there are 95 frames.

it's because they only care about the product, not the process 💔 and it's really unfortunate that people think the result has to be good immediately. they miss out on the journey, that sense of accomplishment when you finish a project, when you take a step back and realize "i made this myself!"

010

Shard @kitsicles.bsky.social · 22/01/2026

this post inspired me hehe it's not really a fandom but i do find early opposites charming. it was just a lil guy making whatever he thought was cool and i think that's pretty neat :]

A flipnote drawing of Chili, a grey cat holding two katanas charged with electricity.

A digital painting of Chili holding one of his katanas up in the air in front of him, and one behind him. He appears as if he's mid-leap. Electricity sparks between the blades and discharges across his fur, making it stand up. He has a mischievous expression.
