I always loved drawing lines and writing words, so I co-founded a design consultancy, Brandient, to do that, but better.

And speaking of Adobe, their stock price seems to follow the quality of their products.

Hotel thermostats continue to be both trivial and beyond human comprehension at the same time.

Emojis are like Netflix: you spend 40 minutes scrolling and hoping to find the perfect one, only to get choice fatigue, grow disappointed, and give up. I’ll keep using :) thank you.
Social media post by writer Annalee Newitz saying “Very important question: If I write :) instead of 😀 do I look cool and retro or anachronistic and indecipherable?”

Celebrating Brandient team members' birthdays with seed bombing!
BRANDIENT'S
GUERILLA GARDENING GUIDE
or how to plant a garden for a birthday*
*through seedbombing

History
Masanobu Fukuoka (japanese farmer & philosopher, celebrated for his natural farming and re-vegetation of desertified lands) created seed bombs, which are an ancient Japanese practice called Tsuchi Dango, meaning 'Earth Dumpling'. New York made them poputar in the trash-strewn dereliction of 1970s. They, ever since, formed a lot of gardens.

What, people no longer find swastikas appealing? As long as he remained silent, the world perceived him as a kind of Steve Jobs with a stutter and no charisma. All it took was to grant him power and a voice to fully expose his complete lack of character.

If the fact that the candidate is a felon, a rapist, an election denier, a traitorous partner, a conspiracy theorist, a dictators' admirer, a compulsive liar, and visibly cognitively impaired person doesn't matter, little else will. There is no strategy.
Bowles-Simpson Irredentist
I honestly don't know what strategy you're supposed to use to beat a candidate who literally tells people he's going to do something idiotic and people vote for him because they think he won't actually do it.

Quoting:

Yeah, I voted for Trump but I never thought he'd be so foolish to actually move forward with 25% tariffs given the well-documented history of how the Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act of 1930 triggered the onset of the Great Depression as global trade flows dried up.

My fellow whites, when you move to another country (even if it's to escape fascism) you are not an expat. You are an immigrant.
Expat is a racist colonizer term. Stop showing your ass.

I heard that Tesla's sales in January plunged 45 per cent across Europe. I wonder why.
Poster in London bus stop says “GOES FROM
0 to 1939
IN 3 SECONDS
TESLA
THE SWASTICAR”
It features an image of Elon Musk standing in a car, like at a military parade, and making a straight-arm Nazi salute.

Timothy Snyder @ @TimothyD... • 1d :
I'm in Munich and people keep asking me to decode Vance's speech. OK: In Vance English "free speech" means "Let Musk run your elections" and "democracy" means "let Russia run your elections." Now move on. 2025 is about what Europeans do, not what Americans say.

Musk was not erratic or unintentional; he was an openly fascist public figure who made a premeditated Nazi salute at one of the most visible media events of the decade.
FT
“Musk is acting like some sort of dank propagandist for the meme age. Nazi salutes by Tesla's 'technoking' take the brand association into new territory.”

I really am sorry about App in the Air shutting down — I used it as a flight tracker for my last 222 flights with 21 airlines, 38 airports in 19 countries. 466,768 km and 4 weeks spent in the air.

"This vast, proto-brutalist concrete monster eloquently expresses the organicist's aversion to right angles; a building that looks as if it was moulded from wet clay, every column capital writhing and metamorphosing into some weird plant." #FT #futurism

"In Germany, Erich Mendelsohn was designing the Einstein Tower, a streamlined expressionist observatory, a stationary building somehow full of motion expressing the way in which the physicist's ideas distorted our notions of space and time." #FT #futurism
