I also miss having a nice acoustic guitar. I had a beautiful one- then I married a musician and we suddenly had 7 guitars, so I donated mine to the local LGBTQ center (they already had a piano!) where it was promptly dropped on cement and destroyed. :(

As a teenager, I used to take my cello bow to my acoustic guitar regularly for funzies. It sounded horrible but I loved it.

The thing I miss the most about school is that our music program was SO GOOD. I wish there was some adult music program where you could just go try out instruments for funzies to see if you like them before committing.

I did get to play a little with one in High School when we had a visiting viol de gamba player come do a performance for our orchestra class. She was really cool and I loved the instrument

Do you have any particular that you really like?? As an Irish/German ho I was thinking Irish harp but I do not like steel strings. That shit is twangy. I like a nice hybrid gut string, they have more warmth and stuff. At least, for celloleloing

Head's up, if you're scared about getting diabetes, don't do keto and please continue eating 3 balanced meals a day. Your body needs regular carbs. It just needs other stuff too. Keto will mess up your metabolism so hard. Ask me how I know.
